Ho ho ho, y’all! ❄️ Christmas is coming!
I know what y’all are thinking. Just a few newsletters ago, I was waxing poetic about fall. And I *might* be drinking a pumpkin spice latte while I write this. ☕️ (I totally am.) But I’m also celebrating Christmas this week, because the new glittery second edition of my book Once Upon A Royal Christmas has just been released by Harpeth Road Press! 🎀
We will get to all the details in just a second, but first, while we are talking about fall, I have to tell you about the book I’m currently reading. Remember how I sent out a list of fun autumn reads recently? Click here if you missed it. Well, since then, I heard about a super cute romcom called The Pumpkin Spice Café. The title alone convinced me to read it, and I am loving it so much. It’s a small town gumpy-sunshine romance with loads of fall vibes. The hero is a literal pumpkin farmer and the heroine owns a coffee shop called the Pumpkin Spice Café. Need I say more? Anyhoo, I’m really enjoying it, and the Kindle version happens to be on sale for just 99 cents today!

Once Upon A Royal Christmas is back, and it’s got a gorgeous new cover! Seriously, how beautiful is this??!!
The heroine of this book is Gracie Clark, and she owns a company called Perfect Party Princesses, which is a costume-character business that provides a variety of fairytale princess characters for children’s birthday parties, school events, weddings, tea parties and corporate gigs. (In other words, my dream job.)
So really, the best person to tell you about the book is probably Gracie’s royal alter-ego, Princess Snowflake! 👑
While we’re talking about royalty, one of my dearest friends is Kristin Contino, who is the Senior Royal and Celebrity Editor at Marie Claire. Kristin and I originally “met” on Instagram and we’ve been real-life friends for a long time now. We even traveled to London together for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and for King Charles’ coronation in 2023 with some of our other royal-watching friends from IG. Here we are at The Ivy in Covent Garden with the King himself. 😉
Kristin just did a fabulous exclusive interview with Queen Elizabeth’s personal hat maker, Stella McLaren. It’s fascinating. I loved reading it and reminiscing about the late Queen. She was truly one of a kind.
