Hey there, lovelies! ๐
I canโt believe weโre heading into Labor Day weekend already! I hope every single one of you has something fun planned. Alas, I will be writing because I have a deadline next week. Itโs for another book in Harlequinโs long-running Fortunes of Texas series. If you read my Fortunes of Texas book from earlier this year (Fortuneโs Lone Star Twins ๐ผ๐ผ), then you know I will be neck-deep in over-the-top drama while I sip my pumpkin spice latte this weekend.
(My 2025 Fortunes book has a secret twin, yโall. But more on that next year!)
I love writing, so I donโt mind staying in this weekend and cuddling up with Charm while I finish my book. But I also love reading and I love, love, love this time of year and all things pumpkin spice, so I thought it might be fun to share some fall-themed reads with you guys before I get back to my manuscript and possibly decorating my front porch with pumpkins.
Itโs totally happening.
Before we get into fall reads, though, I need to share some *spectacular* news. If you follow me on social media (my Instagram is here!), you probably already know about this, but it bears repeating because itโs a lifetime dream come true. I AM NOW A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR!
My most recent book, Dog Days of Summer, was included in a special Harlequin 75th anniversary 2-in-1 edition of Rancher's Law by Diana Palmer, and this special volume is currently #11 on the New York Times mass market best seller list! Diana Palmer is an icon, and I am beyond grateful and honored that Harlequin chose my story to appear in this book. Seeing my name on this list is truly a dream. I cried my eyes out when my editor texted me with the news. So, thank you to everyone who bought this book! I am forever grateful!
Now I am misty-eyed all over again! SNIFFLE. But I promised you some fall reading recs, so here we go:
REUNITED ON SUGAR MAPLE ROAD by Debbie Mason
Um, just take me straight to Sugar Maple Road right now, because it sounds delightful. Also, you will love the dog in this book.
FALLING INN LOVE by Erin Branscom
I listened to this book on audio last autumn and adored it. Total fall vibes with a flannel-wearing hero. And did I mention there are puppies??!
PUMPKIN EVERYTHING by Beth Labonte
Doesnโt that cover just make you want to get in the car and head straight to Starbucks? This book was made into a movie for Hallmark Channel, so itโs obviously got the sweetest Fall vibes. There is also a second book in the series called Sugar Maple Crush, so be sure and check that one out if you already read Pumpkin Everything and loved it.
JUST DONโT FALL by Emma St. Clair
Emma St. Clair is one of my favorite sweet romcom authors, so if you havenโt read her yet, you are missing out. Also, this book is the first in a series of fall-themed sweet romances called Sweater Weather written by seven different amazing authors, which I highly recommend!
THE MAVERICKโS SECRET BABY by (yours truly) Teri Wilson
Is it cheating to put one of my own books on this list? ๐คฃ This is a novel from my backlist, but itโs the most pumpkin spice book Iโve ever written. Thereโs pumpkin carving, cows eating harvest corn and a maple syrup forest.
Fun fact: I wrote that maple tree scene after visiting an actual maple farm in Canada when I was on location filming my Hallmark movie Northern Lights of Christmas, based on my book Sleigh Bell Sweethearts! Does it get any more autumnal and cozy than that?!
Speaking of movies, is it even Fall if you havenโt watched Youโve Got Mail yet? Hands down my favorite thing to watch when the air gets crisp and the leaves start to turn. (Also, shout out to Gilmore Girls #iykyk)
One last thing: I share a link every month for a free book, and this monthโs freebie is Forever With You by my friend Heatherly Bell! Click here to snag your copy!
Have an amazing three-day weekend!
xoxo Teri & Charm
Congratulations, Teri, on making onto the NYT Bestseller list! That is wonderful!
Congratulations on the NYT Bestselling Author! So deserving!
